FS#4338 - LittleHospital-android - Google Play Licensing: check don't work properly

store version: 1.86
test device: Pixel 8 Pro-android16

1. install app (don't launch it!)
2. go to gmail app > logout from account
4. open Google Play Store app > user is prompted to login (this step is not necessary, but it shows me that I am no longer logged into the store)
5. launch app > splash screen is shown up
6. app closes down

BUG: the check does not work properly. As a result, the linking to the google play store app is missing where you are prompted to login > logcat

Note: as mentioned on slack, the check is working properly for MovieAdventure v2.03 and LittlePoliceStation v1.5
